In collaboration with one of the largest legal recruiting agencies in the USA, we embarked on a journey to enhance their outdated internal CRM application. This system hindered their efficiency with a clunky user interface, limited functionality, and scalability concerns.
Their recruiting team faced challenges in:
- Managing employer data: Updating employer profiles and searching for specific firms was cumbersome.
- Streamlining the candidate experience: The application process lacked a user-friendly interface, potentially deterring top talent.
- Generating insightful reports: Extracting valuable data for performance analysis was difficult and time-consuming.
Facing the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry landscape, the client sought to modernize its recruitment processes and elevate its candidate and employer management capabilities.
Solution Overview:
The project comprised two major phases: revamping the existing CRM to meet current needs and transitioning it into a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for future scalability. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and agile methodologies, we ensured flexibility, performance, and security throughout the development lifecycle.

Phase 1: User Experience and Functionality Enhancements
- Revamped UI/UX: We redesigned the user interface for a more intuitive and user-friendly experience for both recruiters and employers.
- Enhanced Employer Management: We built functionalities for easier employer profile management, including search filters and a similar table structure to the candidate management section.
- Streamlined Registration & Placement Process: We redesigned the registration process with a multi-step intake system. We also improved the placement process for data collection and integration with the homepage for reporting and charting purposes.
- Modernized Reporting: We facilitated the creation of on-demand reports with visualizations and the ability to archive them for future reference.
Phase 2: Building a Scalable SaaS Platform (Future State)
This phase, not yet implemented, focuses on strategically transforming the system into a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Key features include:
- Multi-tenant Architecture: Data will be securely separated by organization, allowing Company X to potentially offer their CRM as a service to other legal recruitment firms.
- Modernized Infrastructure: We’ll modernize the system’s infrastructure, including database design, coding standards, and security protocols, to ensure scalability and long-term functionality.
- Enhanced Administrative Features: We’ll develop functionalities for user management, subscription tiers, and granular access control for a robust SaaS platform.
Results Achieved:
Through our collaborative efforts, the first phase of the project yielded remarkable outcomes:
