About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on expertise to join our team as a dedicated remote resource.

Design, build, and optimize scalable data models, database objects, and pipeline workflows within Snowflake.
Write and tune complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and custom functions.
Leverage AI development platforms (e.g., Claude) for code optimization, query refactoring, script generation, and workflow automation.
Monitor virtual warehouse performance, optimize query execution times, and manage micro-partitioning for efficiency.
Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and clients to translate business rules into high-performance technical solutions.

4+ Years in Data Engineering: Proven track record in data warehousing, schema design, and enterprise data pipeline development.
Snowflake Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Snowflake architecture, stored procedures, views, functions, and query optimization.
Advanced SQL: Expertise in writing, debugging, and tuning complex database scripts and analytical queries.
AI Tooling: Hands-on experience using generative AI platforms (e.g., Claude) to boost coding efficiency and process automation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for client-facing and remote team coordination.

ETL Tools: Experience building automated data pipelines and transformations using Alteryx.
Business Intelligence: Experience with Power BI for dataset development, DAX calculations, and visual reporting.
